John Martin Tchicai is, as he puts it himself, an afro-danish-american jazz saxophonist.
Mostly known for his free jazz interventions in the NYC 60's scene, noticably recording with both Johns (Coltrane and Lennon) he eventually moved to Europe where he stayed to promote free jazz and experimental music.
