Kenny Dorham (US jazz trumpeter, singer, and composer)

A top bebop trumpeter, Mr McKinley Howard Dorham featured extensively with "all the cats" during the 50's, including work with Monk, Parker, Gillespie and Roach.
Being a friend of Joe Henderson, they recorded a lot of material together.
Dorham's Blue Note sessions (Una Mas, Afro-cuban, not to mention the others) should be ranked high in the label catalog, while there also exist very interesting material published by Riverside.
